The University of Mississippi Department of Art & Art History is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Art in Printmaking.

This full-time tenure-track position requires an MFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Printmaking or another terminal degree in a related field at the time of appointment. Candidates will possess a commitment and ability to teach traditional printmaking techniques including intaglio, relief, lithography, book arts, letterpress, and digital printmaking as well as a thorough knowledge of the history and theory in the field. Candidates will work with undergraduate students in both the BA in Art and the BFA in Art, with an emphasis in Imaging Arts & Printmaking, as well as with graduate students, including those pursuing the MFA in Studio Art, emphasis in Printmaking, with a focus on mentoring students through the development of portfolios in a variety of industry-related fields.
