Deadline for applying to The Department of Art Graduate Program is: February 1st, 2013
There are two steps in the application process. The prospective student must apply fully to both The Department of Art and The Graduate School to be considered.
(**Update: As of January 2012, the GRE is no longer required for admissions.)

1. Please send the following items to The Department of Art:
• Letter of Intent (Include a brief introduction, proposed area of study, semester/year to begin, and goals as a
graduate student)
• 20 Images (digital images saved in a Powerpoint presentation with the file extension .ppt saved onto a CD)
• Include a corresponding Image List with dimensions, medium, process and year.
• 3 Current Letters of Recommendation (Recommenders should be persons well qualified to speak from first-hand knowledge about your potential for graduate study. Letters of recommendation to master’s programs may be from academic or non-academic sources)
• Artist’s Statement
• Résumé or Curriculum Vitae
